Lake Parramatta Reserve is recognised as one of the most significant and beautiful bushland remnants in Western Sydney. The reserve is open all year round, with the main gate opening at 6:30am and closed at 5:30pm (7:30pm during daylight saving).
Lake Parramatta is now open for public swimming and water recreation activities. The Australian Lifeguard Service will be on duty:
Weekends & public holidays (including Christmas and New Year’s Day) - 31 October 2015 to 13 March 2016 - 9am to 6pm
School holidays – 19 December 2015 to 26 January 2016 – every day (Monday to Sunday) - 9am to 6pmAt all other times people are advised to swim only in the designated swimming area, marked by buoys, and observe safe swimming practices.
